Jaclyn Borgia is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with a certificate in school guidance (K through grade 12). She focused her studies on children in the school system and was a school counselor for Catapult Learning, working with nonpublic schools in Philadelphia. Jaclyn changed courses with a personal connection to substance use in 2011, working with Steps to Recovery, Soar Corp Recovery Center, and Penn Foundation. Jaclyn has worked in both Bucks and Montgomery Counties, with knowledge and connections of resources for recovery, pregnancy, homelessness, CYS, mental health, legal, and medical assistance. Jaclyn recently obtained a certification in drug and alcohol counseling, which will contribute to the skills, knowledge, and techniques in her already abundant, figurative tool kit. Presently, Jaclyn is focusing full time with Ivyland Counseling Center in hopes of creating a safe environment for clients to explore and grow on their terms.
